All policies apply to all bookings made with Jaz, Annie and any other affiliated artist under Jazlooks. Before making any booking please ensure you have read and understood the sections that are relevant to you - contact us if you have any queries. Full payment for your treatment is required to secure your appointment. Please do not bring any extra company / +1's to your appointment as we do not have extra space in the salon, and they will have to be sent away. Unfortunately this includes young children and pets.
'After hours' Appointments can be booked for times outside of working hours at a £15 additional fee - some of these may be visible on the booking system in which case you must add on the 'After hours' extra when booking on the system. Alternatively you can request after hours slots that are not visible on the system by contacting us - but be aware that the requested slot may not always be possible. Any After Hours payment is considered part of the treatment therefore required to confirm your booking.

Rescheduling and Cancellations - Can be managed yourself online - 48 hour policy

Our booking system calls all payments 'deposits', however we charge the full upfront cost of the treatment so there is no remaining balance to pay on the day. We also consider the payment a booking fee, and we retain the right to charge booking fees for administrative changes made to appointments not attended.
Vitamin C and D injections are time sensitive and cannot be rescheduled once booked - all payments are completely NON-refundable for this service.
We operate a 48 hour policy. Any changes outside of this time frame can be managed yourself online and refunds can be processed. Please allow 2-5 working days for refunds to be processed. We permit rescheduling once, however the same appointment cannot be rescheduled more than this before the appointment must be cancelled, and payment forfeited. Any rescheduling can also only be done to slots that are available online within the 30 day availability period - if there is no availability then the appointment may be cancelled.

Changes to appointment such as changing service or adding something should be requested outside of the 48 hour period - they may not always be possible but this makes it more likely. Any changes within 48 hours of your appointment can only be done by contacting us and will not be eligible for refund. Contact lines are monitored between working hours. Messages can be left outside of these hours however may not be acknowledged until monitored hours.

If you ‘no show’ your appointment (meaning do not attend without informing us) you forfeit any payments made, including future appointments which will be cancelled without refund. No shows will be blacklisted from making and attending future appointments. If you have previously been informed to not book with us again, or you have an outstanding balance and you try to book in, your appointment will be cancelled without refund. You will be re informed that you are not to book again, and any further attempts will be cancelled WITHOUT refund. In sum, your appointment will not go ahead unless your technician has agreed to take you on again, you have paid any outstanding balance, AND paid the full amount for the booked appointment.

We operate a grace period for lateness but this means less time is spent on your appointment and a late fee may be added on. If you are over 15 minutes late then unfortunately your appointment will have to be cancelled. If your appointment is cancelled as a result of lateness then you will forfeit the full payment made for this appointment, and be required to make adjustments to any future infill or top-up appointments that have already been booked in.
In the event of making a last minute appointment (within the next 48 hours), you forfeit the cancellation/reschedule/changes policy and must attend your appointment within its agreed entirety. 48 hours before your appointment, any payment made becomes non-refundable. All services are final sale - no provided services will be refunded. You must follow all appointment requirements, instructions during it, and aftercare to ensure quality and longevity.

If any problems outside of this should arise, your lash technician reserves the right to redo your lashes/rectify the issue as she sees appropriate. Redo’s will not be available if the issue is deemed as a result of poor compliance, this applies to all services - no free treatments will be given. Any issues/complaints should be raised at the appointment or within 48 hours after it as any issues that arise after this period, are likely due to be caused by improper care not improper service.

All tattooing procedures have multiple weeks/months until the final results are visible, therefore your lips will not be eligible for review until the recommended period has passed. We cannot guarantee specific results with cosmetic tattooing as it is heavily influenced by aftercare. After the recommended period to allow for optimum healing if you would like to come in for a review before your next session/to discuss, then you can book a consultation session for this.

Patch Tests - Must be Completed at least 48 hours prior to actual treatment -

Payment for consultation appointments do NOT go towards the treatment. If for any reason treatment does not go ahead consultation fees are non-refundable. You are not tied into any treatment just because you have attended a consultation - the choice is yours (if you are suitable).
Unless you are pregnant, have allergies, or have other concerns in which case you MUST attend a patch test. If you fail to do so, this may result in you being turned away from your appointment for your safety but without refund. You will be sent a consent form at the time of booking, please complete this AFTER your patch test, but before your actual treatment appointment. Anyone who does not wish to complete consent/waiver form on the day will be turned away without refund.

Patch Test & Consultations

It is Mandatory that all Saline Removal and Cosmetic Tattooing clients MUST attend an in-person Patch test and Consultation appointment a minimum of 48 hours prior to the first treatment session. Injection Clients must complete a consultation however this can be done virtually - Vitamin C and D boosters requires proof of recent blood test results.

Regenerative-Medicine Aesthetic Treatments POLICY

A patch test is not required for these sessions as products used are completely autologous (meaning they come from your own blood)
Consultation appointment is also not required to be booked but you may book one if you would like to attend a face-to-face appointment for a discussion. However we are happy to have this discussion over the phone/messages free of charge.

You will be asked to complete a consent form and disclose any medical conditions. If you have any condition or are concerned about your eligibility please reach out to us.

Anyone Pregnant, breastfeeding, with past or active cancer, or blood disorders, or using accutane based treatments cannot have these treatments done.

To prepare for your treatment we advise
- NO 'actives' used in skincare, for example acids for at least 7 days prior.
- We advise boosting your health for best results, so staying hydrated, taking your daily vitamins, sleeping, eating and excersising well, incorporating protein and micronutrients into your diet.
- We require taking a small amount of blood to be able to carry out this treatment, so make sure you have hydrated well in the 24 hours leading to your appointment
- No make up when you attend your treatment

Aftercare:
- Rinse the face with plain mild water after 1 hour
- NO products at all for 24 hours, then you can use gentle moisturiser only until 48 hours, then you can add gentle cleanser until 72 hours. Then you can return to your skincare as usual.
- Avoid touching the area. (use cotton pads to apply products as above)
- Change your pillow cases to freshly washed cases
- Some small pinprick areas of swelling/redness/bruising may be visible for the first couple of days.
- No swimming/saunas - anything that may submerge the area and make it prone to infection.

With these treatments you may see results from one session, however we recommend multiple sessions to build the best results.
This is a natural based treatment so all outcomes are dependent on your own body and we cannot guarantee any specific outcome. We also cannot guarantee a certain amount of product available at your treatment as this depends on what your own blood can produce - this will not result in any reduction of price.
As this treatment is all about natural enhancements, multiple sessions are suggested for aiming to achieve the best results, and 6-12 monthly top ups may be recommended depending on your desire. This can all be discussed and suggested if you attend a post treatment review because the results are completely dependent on seeing how your skin produces and responds to sessions. Any shedule done not following the recommended timescales (start with 3 sessions, 2-5 weeks apart) will be less accurate to predict.

The benefit of this treatment is that it is natural! That also means you should expect natural results.
Eyelash Extension policy

We do NOT work over other lash technicians’ work under any circumstances. Do not attend any appointment with extensions from other artists - ensure that you have booked a 'Foreign work Removal'.

Come with clean lashes, no mascara/strip lash residue, no make-up – including under eye concealer, no dirty build-up, no oils/oily product on your face - unclean lashes will incur a £10 fee to clean. We highly recommends being makeup free above the nose, but feel free to bring your make-up if you would like to touch it up after. Extensions’ longevity is not guaranteed on top of lashes that are not fresh. We also recommend to avoid caffeine and avoid hairstyles with the hair at the back of your head.

For Infills Clients must have our OWN work on from 2-3 weeks ago and at least 50% remaining to be eligible for infills.
Infills booked for more than 2-3 weeks gap, or with less than 50% of the lashes remaining will be charged as a full set. For optimum lash care and to avoid excess fees we recommend to book for closer to 2 weeks rather than 3 weeks especially if you are new to lashes. If you book an infill but require a full set, then contact us ASAP to discuss options.

Book in advance to avoid disappointment - it is a good idea to have 2 appointments booked a time e.g book your full set, and then go and book your infill too.
We recommend no more than 4 infills. After the 4th infill, a removal and new full set is recommended. However this depends on each person as some people will be able to go more than 4 infills without retention suffering, whereas others can only have 2 infills before retention reduces.

You must wash your lashes before infills (come with clean lashes, and no make-up), the same as you would to a full set appointment. You should be washing your lashes often – daily is best. If your lashes are unclean then this will affect retention of the set and adjustments may have to be made to any upcoming appointments.

COSMETIC TATTOO POLICY - Mandatory in-person patch test and consultation is required
Patch test and consultation appointments must be booked for Saline brow removals, Brow and Lip tattooing appointment. At these appointments you will learn all the relevant information and we will assess your specific needs. You will be advised on any specific requirements for you at this appointment for example clients who wish to have Lip treatments but have previously had cold sores should seek antiviral medication in preparation. If after 48 hours your patch test is fine, then you are able to book in for your treatment as has been discussed.
If any client should have previous work done, we will need to assess if we can take you on for cover up work which will be done at patch test/consultation, however this would be as a new client - we can not 'top-up' another artists work.
You will be sent a form to complete when you book in your patch test / consultation. Please fill in this form ASAP. The form will provide more information and policy regarding your treatment, and this will be further discussed when you attend. All information should be considered in conjunction with each other and all policy here and in form combined must be followed. You are expected to adhere to all recommendations pre-treatment and post-treatment to avoid complications. More detailed information is provided at patch/test consultation however you should be expected to avoid dry lip skin before appointment (lightly exfoliate and strongly moisturise), avoid ibuprofen, aspirin, alcohol, caffeine/ any other blood thinners 48 hours prior to tattoo (Unless medically required – in which case this should have been discussed at consultation as this may not be the best time for treatment for you), post treatment aftercare will be verbally explained and sent to you. Post treatment SPF use will protect your skin.

Vitamin Boosters - for your safety we will not over-treat you
if you overbook treatments these will be cancelled. information is provided on consent forms.
Appointments booked too frequently will not go ahead to avoid overdose. We endeavour to make sure that any appointment OVERbooked will be cancelled ASAP however it is your responsibility to ensure that you are not booking too frequently. Should you turn up on the day too soon, then you will be turned away without refund. B12 injections can be booked without patch test / consultation HOWEVER 48 hours notice is required as we need to virtually send over information and consent forms. Unless you are having a LOADING DOSE we recommend a maximum frequency of 1-2 monthly with breaks. If you would like to discuss B12 boosters you can book a consultation.

Vitamin C and D injection clients MUST book in a consultation appointment. These clients MUST be able to send us a recent blood test showing indicated vitamin levels. Once booked in vitamin C and D appointments are NON-REFUNDABLE and they are NOT ABLE to be RESCHEDULED. They can be cancelled only.

All information will be discussed at consultation however at all treatments you MUST have eaten on the day and drank plenty of water. If you feel poorly on the day your appointment CANNOT go ahead.
